I sat out side our cabin in the Adirondacks and drew the tree stump there. I remember when it was a full tree, it was our first year in that cabin (Cabin 13.) At the end of the week there was a really bad thunderstorm and the tree broke and fell over. It missed the family mini van by inches, and missed the cabin by a few feet. I wrote a story about it in school that year...I was in 3rd grade. Its kind of neat to see what 16 years has done to a stump in the ground. Below is a larger image of the drawing, however the one above is more accurate to the size that I drew in my sketch book.
