This is the first thing I drew with my new prismacolor pastels! This little frog is in mid leap of jumping into the pond. I know the frog's eye looks a little bit off, but I'm happy. Too bad my scanner isn't big enough and some of the edges were chopped off. I was inspired to do this by a few paintings an art teacher has out side her class room. A bunch of colorful leaping frogs. I thought I'd make a frog in a similar style but with a different medium. Yeay for prismacolor pastels and special pastel paper!
